VMG Apocalypse

Magyar verzió

VMG Apocalypse started out as a plain high school movie. It became something much more than that. I can say that without being stuck-up, because VMG has won an award at the 8th Hungarian Youth Movie Festival, and has won the youth award of the 5th Open Film Festival (OFF).

This satire combines the shows of the so-called "American action TV series" such as Acapulco Heat, and "Japanese World Saving Cartoons" such as Sailor Moon, and mixes them with the wonderful world of Venezualian soap operas, TV Shop and washing detergent commercials.

The storyline is not too complicated: Really Evil Demons come from outer space with a mission to conquer all of Hungary's high schools. Only one school remains unconquered: VMG (that stands for Varosmajor High School), where they are faced with the school-protecting force of the elite Cabbage Commando, who had just returned from shooting off a mutant flying orange with water pistols. But can the Commando stop the Really Evil Demons? Well, I'm not supposed to answer that. Get the movie!
